About Campaign
edit: Campaign ended 31 Mar 2022, 11:59 PM
The Greenhouse is a substance use recovery centre for marginalised and vulnerable communities; our beneficiaries include those who are LGBT, HIV+, ethnic minority and/or formerly incarcerated.
We are a safe space for people to learn, change and grow together. Our beneficiaries are trauma survivors (e.g. sexual assault, body shaming, racial discrimination) who had turned to substance use as a maladaptive coping mechanism. Our suite of services empower them to address their underlying pain so that they may heal and outgrow their addiction. We also address the needs of the broader community via our Peer Support and Caregivers Support Programmes, and collaborations with stakeholders (e.g. psychiatrists, psychologists, the National Council Against Drug Abuse etc.) to cultivate competent and compassionate care for all patients.
We are concerned by the effects of the coronavirus pandemic on our country's mental wellbeing; our number of beneficiaries has increased by more than six fold since we started in 2017, with 2021 registering the steepest increase.
Your donation today will save lives.
We are a registered charity and our campaign is supported by the Tote Board's Enhanced Fundraising Program. Every dollar you give by 31 Mar 2022 is matched by our board of directors, before Tote Board matching, for four times the impact.
